Overview
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative to join our customer’s busy team based in Yoxall, near Burton on Trent. Due to the location having your own transport is essential.
Hours of work are 10:00-19:00 Monday to Friday.
This role is available immediately, and is a long term position with the potential to become permanent.
Responsibilities
Loading and unloading goods using manual handling techniques
Managing stock levels through accurate picking and packing of orders
Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
Handling materials safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations
Stocking shelves and maintaining organised storage areas for easy access and inventory accuracy
Ensuring all warehouse operations comply with company policies and safety standards
Skills
Experience of working within a warehouse facility is essential
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 is advantageous
Strong materials handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
