Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and experience in office administration to contribute to a dynamic environment. The Administrator will play a key part in supporting daily business activities, maintaining records, and providing exceptional support to colleagues and clients alike.
Responsibilities
Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing them appropriately
Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation both digitally and physically
Updating listings on website, taking pictures of items and accurately describing them.
Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and events
Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentation materials as required
Supporting accounts payable and receivable processes through data entry and record keeping
Handling general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and well-organised at all times
Skills
Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Exceptional typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
Good phone etiquette with clear communication skills
Previous clerical experience demonstrating attention to detail and reliability
Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes in a fast-paced environment
